The California Building Performance Contractors Association (CBPCA) is California’s premier advocate for the growth of the home performance industry. CBPCA believes in a California in which a sustainable and expanding home performance industry is responsible for producing energy efficient, healthy, safe and comfortable homes. As a non-profit membership trade organization, CBPCA provides support for its contractor members and all other industry participants, by providing them access to industry-related knowledge and continuing education in the field of building science. Working in conjunction with industry partners such as ICF, BIG, Efficiency First, and BKi, CBPCA manages and provides comprehensive training, quality assurance, and technical assistance programs for many of the energy efficiency initiatives sponsored by California’s investor-owned and municipal utilities. CBPCA also provides training and testing for BPI and HERS certifications, advanced home performance skills and sales and marketing training programs for home performance industry professionals. CPBCA is proud to have participated in every Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program in California since its creation in 2002.
